2019 FIA Formula One Emirates Gran Premio de España – Practice – Friday
Weather: FP1: sunny, 21-23°C air, 32-39°C track; FP2: sunny, 22-24°C air, 38-43°C track
LET’S TALK ABOUT COMEBACKS
Liverpool. 0-3 after the first leg. Wins 4-3 on aggregate v Barcelona.
Tottenham. 0-3 down with 45 minutes to go. Goes through on away goals v Ajax.
After two incredible football comebacks in two days, we can hope three’s a charm and Alfa Romeo Racing deliver the biggest comeback of all to come away with a big result when the chequered flag falls on Sunday afternoon after P11 and P17 in the free practice sessions!
After all, this track has produced some wildly unexpected results in the past – not least, Michael Schumacher’s “fifth-gear only” drive to P2 in 1994 and Pastor Maldonado’s famous win in 2012.
You couldn’t have predicted that. THEY couldn’t have predicted that. So let’s produce some more comeback magic and continue this crazy week of sporting upsets!
