First Steps…

Antonio Giovinazzi , nicknamed “Giovi”, is a young and very talented Italian racing driver. He was the 2015 FIA Formula 3 European Championship runner-up and raced with Prema in the 2016 International GP2 Series, again finishing runner-up with five wins and eight overall podiums. It is not by chance that Scuderia Ferrari has picked him to be the third driver for its Formula One team for the 2017 season. Antonio drove his career to stardom trough the minor formulas, shining In the FIA Formula 3 European Championship and the International GP2 series.

Racing Début

Giovinazzi made his competitive début for Sauber at the 2017 Australian Grand Prix, replacing Pascal Wehrlein, who he also replaced at the following Chinese Grand Prix, as Wehrlein continued his recovery from a pre-season accident.

Now Antonio is driving his first full Formula One season for Alfa Romeo Racing. Welcome to the team!
